I used to got to school in St.Ives with Becky, so when I had an email from her asking if I could photograph her and her fiancée Ed’s wedding I was delighted!

Ed and Becky live up in Bristol now so when they were down for a visit in St.Ives I met up with them to to hear all about the plans for their big day!

Knowing how creative the family are with arts and crafts I was excited to hear it was going to be a DIY wedding!

The wedding venue, Folly Farm is set in a 250 acre nature reserve  in Somerset. Which made a perfect setting for their Woodland theme wedding.

Becky had her wedding dress handmade by her mum! It was beautiful and Becky looked stunning in it. The gorgeous jewellery was made by Helen, Becky’s Sister.

The reception room was dressed with pine cones, tree stumps, weaved wooden hearts that were handmade on the hen party by the girls and woodland animals which were hand made by Gillian, Beckys mum.

The catering company Pieminister provided a warming wedding breakfast of Gourmet Pie and Mash…Yum!

A beautiful day for a beautiful couple, wishing them all the very best for their married life together.

Here’s a few favourites from the day….
